Very strange early industrial from Australia. This is one of my favorite discs - but then, I love sound collage noise and these guys were pioneers of the technique. Bizarre tape loops with quirky electronic beats and layered synths. It was first released in 1983.

The version I have includes 10 tracks from the original tape, plus 5 additional tracks.

The songs range from fairly energetic industrial compositions (e.g. Dead Eyes Opened, Exploring the Secrets of Treating Deaf Mutes) to strange abstract constructions with found sounds, cut-up beats, backwards loops, etc. This is one cd I never get tired of listening to, though it is probably an acquired taste.

Tracks:
1. A Relic of the Empire
2. A Million Angels
3. Houses Standing Still
4. Gashing the Old Mae West
5. Dead Eyes Opened
6. Golden Boy
7. Godsong
8. Epilepsy 82
9. Exploring the Secrets of Treating Deaf Mutes
10. Brasserie in Rome
11. The Ant can see Legs
12. I Stand on my Head
13. Acme Dehydrated Boulder Kit
14. Bullet
15. Mount
